Sutton Take Part Pathfinder
Sutton Race Equality Council is a partner in the Sutton Take Part project.
Sutton Take Part is a new programme open to all residents in Sutton. It is about providing support and information to encourage people to 'take part' in community life in Sutton as active citizens
An active citizen can be many things from someone who lends a hand to a neighbour, gets involved in decisions to change public services or is part of a charity or community group. It also includes people who are trustees, school governors and councilors to name a few.
Have you ever thought that you would like to get involved but not sure how to and where to go?
Sutton Take Part is here to provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to become empowered citizens. As long as you live or work in Sutton and are aged 16 or over you can benefit from this scheme.
We also offer free learning support and training in areas such as presentation skills, public speaking, how your council works and the opportunity to meet and learn from active citizens from your area.
